Art Holidays 2012![]()
The Creative Retreat offers art holidays for all level of skill and experience, a friendly guide or critical eye depending on what you need. Our aim is to create the space you need to make your own steps forward, and we're always delighted to welcome new guests, catch up with regulars, and every now and again hear how a week at the Retreat has breathed new life and brought real change.

PAINTING & DRAWING Holiday week - with Bryan Angus DA
A relaxing week with tuition tailored specifically to your needs, covering any area of materials, drawing, composition and idea development you want. Groups are never larger than eight, rarely above seven, ensuring plenty of tuition time. Bryan is a supportive and knowledgeable tutor who's own work (mainly in oils and pastels), covers traditional themes such as landscape, still life and portraiture. Anne's course is especially designed to break down barriers you may have towards abstraction, and to help you find new ways of making art. This is suitable for painters at any level - particularly as the group will be small and tuition time for each student will be extensive.
