High Street StudioThis studio has unrivalled views over Gamrie Bay and the village roof tops, sitting proud of all other buildings around it in the village - a bright, airy, peaceful space only minutes from the sea. Measuring 7m by 6m (23' by 20'), with windows on three sides, the studio is centrally heated and has a warm, painted wooden floor great for group activities, or just to enjoy the luxury of spreading your work out and not having to clear it away each day! The High Street Studio is let separately from Bankhead and Stroma, normally on a weekly basis, but we can let for a shorter visit, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Facilities include: Central heating, Sink area, Tables, Chairs, Easels and Drawing donkeys, Drawing boards, Tea and coffee making facilities, Disabled access toilet. BankheadThe Bankhead studio space is 7m by 3m, (23' by 10'), with sea views through West and North facing windows over the picturesque village roof tops. It can comfortably accommodate two artists and is particularly useful in the winter months as a warm refuge with excellent views to work from. Facilities include: Central heating, Sink , Tables, Chairs, Easels, Drawing boards, Tea and coffee making facilities (wc in the Bankhead House, two minutes away). Please click here for information on Accommodation/Charges. StromaThe Stroma studio is 6m by 12m, (20' by 40'), and is particularly suitable for large visual arts groups. In the past it was used as a fisherman's net drying room, religeous meeting hall and school. There is ample natural and assisted light, and a wood burning stove to cosy up to with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Facilities include: Central heating, Sink, Tables, Chairs, Easels, Drawing boards, Tea and coffee making facilities, Wood burning stove, relaxing sofas, (wc in the Stroma House, two minutes away). |
